Origami Paper
Hey,
Recently I have been doing a little SEO work in my spare time for a friend, Ray Kidd.
Ray and I do aikido together and have known each other for a number of years. His partner recently redesigned his website for him and its looking great.
Its been great fun doing the marketing for it, throwing around link bait ideas, watching the SERPS and studying the competition.
Our first attempt at linkbaiting was more than a little niche - but I thought it was hillarious. I called it Schrodinger’s lolcat. Both Ray and I did physics at university, so the geek humour works for us.
(If you don’t get it, do a search for Schrodinger’s Cat in wikipedia although you probably still wont find it funny. Oh, you may also want to search for lolcats).
I also submitted the page to some ‘physics humour’ sites hoping to get some valuable .edu domain links.
It looks like we are going to do some origami based lolcat linkbaits which will be more relevant to the site.
The site seems to be doing ok thus far, although I think we are spreading out origami paper links a little thin.
We have two pages targeting the same keyword. So I am hoping to target origami supplies on the home page and origami paper on the page selling origami paper.
