Google competing with second life - lively goes live
Google have released lively beta.
It seems like a lot of fun, I’m not so sure how well it will take off though. Its a prettier version of second life where users create miniature worlds and avatars to interact in.
after playing around for a while I have found some extra features which I like
Certain items that you add to your room or world have their own properties, for instance, every item can be either a hyperlink or an Avatar entry point - however, i added a screen to my island and it has the ability to stream youtube videos directly into the world
It’s very easy to set up and I think little features like this will make all the difference
