For those of you who haven’t yet heard, Vanessa Fox, Webmaster Central’s head of operations is leaving to join Zillow.

Vanessa is responsible for many of the features and tools that SEOs now rely on. Sitemaps, viewing links, preferred domain display. I’ve read her comments on thousands of posts throughout the community, not only because she was obviously passionate about the issues but because she is a well respected part of the community.

I hope she continues to do so in her new role. I look forward to reading about it in her blog.
